Current Programs

Cancer Support Forum

Cancer patients, survivors, their caregivers and loved ones need assistance when it comes to coping with cancer.  FFMM Support Forums are an excellent resource and a helpful place to turn to for additional information and support.

Financial Assistance

FFMM can connect cancer patients with a coalition of financial assistance organizations joining forces to help cancer patients experience better health and well-being by limiting financial challenges.

Educational Seminars

These FFMM-sponsored seminars create a focus on cancer as a public health issue within the NWI community and seek to engage health care providers, clinicians, academics and the public in cancer related activities ranging from education, practice, policy, research, and surveillance.

Academic Scholarships

The purpose of the Foundation For Molecular Medicine Scholarship Awards is to provide college scholarship awards to students who have shown a career interest in BioTechnology, BioMedical Engineering, Pre-Med or other related field.

Intervention Programs

Although the increasing numbers of cancer survivors testifies to the success of early detection and treatment, there is a downside. Cancer survivors are at increased risk for second cancers, other forms of comorbidity (e.g., cardiovascular disease, diabetes, osteoporosis), and functional decline. Lifestyle factors, such as a healthy diet, regular exercise, and smoking cessation may prevent these conditions and improve survivors’ quality of life.

Health and Wellness Outreach

Our annual Health & Wellness Expo provides interactive and hands-on experiences through, demonstrations, seminars, education, and entertainment provided by healthcare providers, nutritionists, sports and fitness specialists, and more.
